The Texas Travel Alliance is the voice of the travel and tourism industry in Texas. We advocate for policies that help our industry grow and thrive. We provide professional development opportunities to elevate our industry’s leaders. And we create connections that will help our members flourish and succeed. The travel industry has a nearly $190 billion impact on the Texas economy, employs over 1.3 million people, and enables all other business sectors to thrive and grow. The travel industry helps cultivate a quality of life for all Texans. That’s why we believe Life is better in a State of Travel.

As the primary champion for the travel industry, TTA represents both the interests of our travel businesses and our visitors. In order to support these efforts, the Texas TravelPAC was created.

The TTA Texas TravelPAC exists to raise funds in support of legislators who support travel and tourism. Funds are focused on elevating travel policies at the State Capitol through relationship building, education and support for the travel industry.

TTA supports elected officials who understand that Life is better in a State of Travel. Contributing to the campaigns of legislators who understand the benefits of a strong and robust travel industry is a vital part of establishing relationships that promote favorable state legislation and a positive business climate in Texas.

We believe TravelPAC giving and advocacy involvement are professional responsibilities/duties. Just as continuing education is professional development, and essential to career growth – advocacy is essential to the industry’s viability and growth.

Why Donate to the Texas TravelPAC?
  • TravelPAC allows for the opportunity to support legislators who work hard to protect and grow the Travel Industry. We must support legislators and state leaders who understand the positive economic impact of travel and tourism in Texas. We turn to these elected officials time and time again in our advocacy efforts and when they turn to us for help, we need to be there.
  • TravelPAC expands members’ influence beyond your own legislative districts. It helps direct money to candidates and officeholders you may not know about, but who support our issues. They need our support.
  • TravelPAC contributions give candidates and officeholders a clear understanding of our interests and issues. Personal support directly to a candidate or elected officials is also impactful, but it is personal and doesn’t necessarily represent to that candidate or official all the issues that TravelPAC does. If you are so inclined to personally support candidates, please let us know so that we can ensure that they know you are a member.
  • TravelPAC makes carefully studied, well-informed decisions on whom to support. The PAC board will make decisions about candidates and officeholders based on inside knowledge of what really happens on our issues during a legislative session and beyond.
  • When we all work together, we are unstoppable. Join TravelPAC and together we will present a united voice for the importance of protecting and growing the Travel and Tourism Industry.
