We have put together the following tours for the Travel & Tourism College students. All tours will take place on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. Registration is now closed.
Cocktail Creation at Sage Roots Cocktail Company - 1:00PM Matt, owner of Sage Roots Cocktail Company uses fresh and seasonal ingredients to elevate the cocktail experience. Attendees will be greeted with a craft cocktail and then learn about the bar tools they’ll be using to make their own seasonal craft cocktail. Matt’s passion and enthusiasm for hospitality and his art are infectious! (Tour limited to 12 people. There is a fee of $5/person required in advance. Transportation is on your own.)
Experience the Heart of the Texas A&M Hotel - 2:00PM Join us for an exclusive 2-hour tour of the Texas A&M Hotel's Back of House to see Housekeeping & Culinary departments hotel operations up close and personal. Learn about the award-winning Housekeeping process/protocols, receive a tutorial on how to make a hotel perfect bed followed by a unique kitchen tour and Executive Chef led BBQ education course with demonstration and special tasting! (Tour limited to 20 people. Registration is required and there is no cost.)
Messina Hof Winery Tour - 1:30PM Enjoy an educational tour of the vineyard, production, and bottling areas. Also included is a tasting of 4 wines. Participants must arrive no later than 1:20pm and transportation is on you own. (Tour is limited to 20 people. There is a fee of $30/person required in advance. Transportation is on your own.)
Tour of Kyle Field and Presentation - 1:30PM What is happening behind the scenes at a Texas A&M Fightin’ Texas Aggie Football Game? If you have been to a game, did you know you were being watched? How do the safety and security manage the 100,000+ crowds in the stadium? Come find out with a look behind the scenes with Lt. Joe Rios as he explains the inner workings of the Command Center and what the Game Day Operations look like from his standpoint. While there, you will be taken on a guided tour of Kyle Field which includes a stop down on the field and is packed with fun facts about the stadium.
